Designation : Assistant Manager – Finance and Accounts

Location : Gurugram, Remotely

Business/Functional Unit : Finance & Risk

Reports to : SVP – Global Finance

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee both India and onshore accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulatory requirements. This role will be responsible for driving accurate financial reporting, leading audits, and supporting strategic decision-making through analysis and insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in statutory compliance, financial planning, and ERP systems, with proven leadership experience in managing teams.

Key Responsibilities

A thorough knowledge of the following is mandatory for the person.

  • Manage India and Onshore accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Track and analyze business unit profitability, providing insights to improve margins and operational efficiency.
  • the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into financial performance.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Legal compliance- GST, TDS, STPI and Income Tax etc.
  • Manage a team of 3-5 person

Preferred Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA/CPA/ACCA preferred).
  • Proven experience in onshore accounting and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on expertise in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audits, and annual accounts preparation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
