Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Web Development Team Leader to lead our talented web development team and possess strong expertise in WordPress development and PHP frameworks. He/She will be a key contributor in delivering innovative web solutions, communicating effectively with clients, and ensuring the team’s successful performance.
Key Responsibility Areas
Expertise required in WordPress development.
Strong proficiency in PHP web frameworks, particularly Laravel.
Comprehensive Understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles.
Familiarity with MVC design patterns is essential.
Experience with the LAMP stack is necessary.
Strong Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Ability to craft custom page templates from mockups, prototypes, or design files.
Demonstrating proficiency with plugins like Elementor, Gutenberg, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is expected.
Good Understanding of accessibility and security standards.
Should have skills required for integrating multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
Awareness of PHP’s platform limitations and potential workarounds.
Expertise in creating database schemas to support and mirror business processes.
Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN, is a valuable addition.
Lead and manage a team of web developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on a budget.
Familiarize yourself with open-source CMS platforms (e.g., Joomla, Drupal, Magento) and PHP frameworks to effectively manage and contribute to projects.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and share this knowledge with the team.
Drive a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development team.
Role Requirements

Preferred Qualification and Experience
Minimum 8 years in web development, with at least 3 in a team leader role.
