Role Description

The SEO specialist will lead SEO projects from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery and top-notch results. They will be the primary liaison with clients, fostering transparent communication and building strong relationships. The role demands staying updated with SEO trends, conducting audits, and implementing optimization strategies. It also involves monitoring website performance, conducting keyword research, and collaborating seamlessly with a diverse team to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client goals and target audiences.
  • Keyword Research and Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research, identify relevant keywords, and optimize website content (including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and body content) for maximum visibility and organic traffic.
  • Technical SEO: Analyze website technical aspects (such as site structure, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability), identify issues, and implement technical optimizations.
  • Link Building: Build high-quality backlinks from reputable websites to enhance domain authority and drive referral traffic.
  • Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to optimize existing content and create SEO-friendly new content that aligns with search intent.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and other relevant metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. Create regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO clients. Communicate regularly, providing updates on SEO performance, explaining strategies, and addressing any concerns.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and excellent communication.
  • Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure the effectiveness of strategies.

Preferred Skills

  • Proven track record of successfully improving website rankings and organic traffic.
  • Strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, both with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualification & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or client-facing role.
