Designation: Project Manager – Product/Tech Deliveries

Location: Remotely/Gurugram, Haryana/Noida

Role Description

The person will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Tech initiatives and projects and ensure they are completed within scope, budget, and schedule while meeting quality standards. They serve as the central point of contact for all project-related activities and are responsible for ensuring effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and clients.

Key Responsibility Areas

Your day-to-day duties can vary greatly depending on the publication type. However, in general, you will be responsible for the following:

Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines and budgets. Develop a comprehensive project plan, including resource allocation, task sequencing, and risk assessment. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Project Execution: Lead and coordinate developers to execute project plans effectively. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to timelines. Proactively identify and address any project-related issues, risks, or constraints. Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including vendors, team members, and senior management. Engage stakeholders in project decision-making processes, manage expectations, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource Management: Allocate and optimize resources required for project execution. Coordinate with functional managers to secure necessary resources, such as personnel, equipment, and materials. Monitor resource utilization and adjust as necessary to meet project objectives.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop BCP (business continuity planning) strategies. Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing contingency plans when necessary. Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to standards and client requirements. Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues.

Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control. Monitor project expenses, review financial reports, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost optimization.

Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Motivate and support team members, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and facilitating professional development. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


  • Proven experience in project management and delivery using agile framework preferably in IT/Product development environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in JIRA for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving project-related issues.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or Computer Science). 
  • PMP, ITIL or similar project management certification would be preferred but not compulsory.
