Express KCS has publishing clients who are so close to their advertisers that they probably know what they had for breakfast each day. They are certainly often aware of what new sales initiatives are in the works, and would often be part of such promotions with their old paper publication. However, nowadays publishers can offer other ways of getting the message to market.

We have a newspaper customer who has collected raw data from their real estate advertisers about new property viewing days. They asked us to write an iPad app that allows potential home buyers to see what’s open in their area, sorted by number of bedrooms, price and so on, and view it on a live interactive map. Works a treat and further shows the real value that publishers provide as a bridge between the advertisers and the communities they serve.
